Craig Cameron’s “Extreme Cowboy Race"

Dane was recently selected as one of the top Cowboys to compete in Craig Cameron’s “Extreme Cowboy Race”.

The Extreme Cowboy Race™ was created by Ryan Dohrn of HorseCity.com and famed horse teacher Craig Cameron. Fifteen cowboys and cowgirls began the challenge, but only one was crowned the Extreme Cowboy Race™ Champion. Viewers have the opportunity to watch all of the heart stopping action as horse-and-rider teams compete and are eliminated. HorseCity.com decided to name the event the Extreme Cowboy Race™ in an attempt to challenge typical reality TV shows with an infusion of horseback thrills.

The "Extreme Cowboy Race" is a timed race with obstacles designed to not only push horse and rider out of their traditional comfort zone, but also test the communication and horsemanship of each team. Judges award points based on a set of five criteria:

• Horsemanship

• Cadence

• Control

• Horse's attitude

• Overall execution.

The first round of competition features 14 horse-and-rider teams. The top eight competitors move on to Round 2 for another set of competition. The top four then move on.
